(AsiaGameHub) – This deal covers all competitions within the Liga Nacional de Basquete ecosystems.
Press release.- Brazil’s top-tier professional basketball league, the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB), has announced a full-scale, multi-year partnership with Sportradar Group AG to boost international growth and innovation across the entire league.
Sportradar has secured global rights covering audiovisual content for betting and gaming, as well as the collection and distribution of betting data for one of the most popular professional sports in Brazil. The agreement includes all competitions within the LNB ecosystems, among them NBB Caixa (Brazil’s top men’s professional basketball league), Copa Super 8, the Development League, Liga Ouro, Interligas, and the Interligas Development League.
As a key part of the partnership, LNB will utilize Sportradar’s Synergy portfolio, which includes Synergy Stats for advanced data gathering and analytics, and Synergy Coaching — a leading AI-powered video analysis and scouting platform that allows teams to break down game footage, research opponents, and assess player talent.
Additionally, LNB will integrate Sportradar’s industry-leading Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS AI), paired with educational workshops for athletes, administrators, and referees, to protect more than 620 matches each season from corruption and match-fixing.
Sergio Floris, Managing Director for Brazil at Sportradar, said: “We are thrilled to partner with LNB and support the next stage of growth for basketball in Brazil. Sportradar already has a strong footprint in the country through existing partnerships in football and volleyball, and we have long looked forward to adding Brazil’s premier basketball league to our portfolio. Together, we aim to elevate the league through innovation, data and integrity.”
Rodrigo Montoro, President of the LNB, added: “We are extremely pleased with this partnership. Sportradar is a global benchmark for innovation, data, and integrity, and this agreement will definitely boost the development of Brazilian basketball starting next season. This partnership positions us strongly in both domestic and international markets, and will bring major benefits to our sport over the next four years.”
With a long-standing integrity partnership with the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) and a full-scale agreement with the CBV (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation), the addition of NBB completes Sportradar’s coverage across Brazil’s three most popular sports, marking a natural culmination of its work to support the development and protection of competitions that are at the heart of Brazilian fans’ passion.
